| It all started about 8 years ago when a friend of mine who was one of the owners of Wildcard asked me to come work for him on their road crew. We were to set up all the equipment and make sure everything was working alright for the musicians to come in and play. I met alot of great people and singers/musicians and I was hooked. After a couple of years and more experience I started running the stage monitor board and that's where I got the feel for running sound. I would say my biggest influences were from my buddy Craig Schaefer and My wife's Uncle, T.J. Swanson, Without them I wouldn't know half of what I know now. When Gary asked me to come run sound for him I was stoked that he had that much faith in me...but I am glad he did! It's great job, and where else can you drink cold Beer and listen to great music! |
