My playing style is typical of any self-taught musician.  I was heavily influenced by the drummers that
were in my favorite bands.  Musicians such: as Kenny Aranoff, Carter Beauford, John Bonham, Alex Van
Halen, and of course, Neil Peart.

I was also starting to find out who the musicians were playing on the records of country artists and found
myself trying to emulate their styles as well, so I have a deep appreciation for studio and touring
musicians alike, Eddie Bayers, Harry Stinson, K.W. Turnbow, Ron Gannaway, and Larry Londin.  These
are the guys who get to record in the studio and get to tour on the road.  What a blast!!

I have spent the last 13 years playing with Jay Eric and the Blieders Creek Band. The guys are
definitely, hands-down some of the greatest musicians (and manager/sound engineer) in the State of
Texas.  They have been my mentors, brothers, family, and teachers and I love and respect each one of
them immensely.

During down time with Jay and the guys, I had the opportunity to play with Wildcard out of Seguin, Texas
which unfortunately was towards the end of the bands days under the Wildcard name.

However, all was not lost and Gary decided to go on his own and try to keep the band together.  Gary
asked me to go along and I told him that I would be more that willing.
en with Jay and the guys, but there is such a tremendous brotherhood between the members of 20x that
it feels like home.  I have been so lucky to have the chance to play and create music with both bands.
There is so much talent amongst the guys in 20 X that it makes transitioning between the two groups
easy.

I want everyone to know that you don’t have to be in Nashville to see talent because it’s right here in
Texas!
You can find it at any local honky-tonk, nightclub, pub, bar, inn, or County fair.  I just hope that someday
Nashville realizes that they should’ve been in Texas the whole time!

I see and feel great things ahead for Gary and the band and I know you all do as well. You guys are the
reason we do what we do and why we keep doing it.  Lord knows it’s not the money!!  Without each and
every one of you, we couldn’t continue to live this dream and that’s truly what it is, the greatest gig in the
whole world to me is to create and share music with my brothers and give it to you all.  I dreamt of doing
this since I was at least five years old and I have photos to prove it!

To my 20X family…..thank you for the opportunity to be a part of  this experience. You are my brothers
and I would do anything in the world for any one of you! To you guys reading this…..thank you for
coming to the shows and spending your hard-earned money to watch a group of guys who have the
honor of sharing our music with you all. Thank you!

Would I give it all up for Nashville?  I didn’t
